Maison & Objet 2025 January

This year, we proudly debut at Maison & Objet with “The Design Forest,” where nature and design come together. Inspired by onyx’s origins, the forest setting reflects the material’s connection to water, light, and earth. Just as birch trunks intertwine with the colours and veins of onyx, blue grape hyacinth bulbs emerge from their leaves, surprising us with what they reveal, mirroring the unexpected onyx pieces we find. Each piece is unique, with layers that unfold in exploration and surprise. Under the creative vision of Amsterdam-based designer Dayinne Potuyt, Zaconi transforms raw stone into statement pieces. Her designs celebrate the interplay of light and shadow, combining craftsmanship with contemporary design to create timeless objects that balance warmth and minimalism, never distant, but always deeply inviting.
